Wendover Head Teacher Mrs Barnes Retires after 35 Years

Richard and the Bucks Bear popped down to John Hampden Infant School  in Wendover this week to surprise retiring Head Teacher Sue Barnes.

Mrs Barnes has been at the school for 35 years, 15 of those as Head Teacher.

Pupils and staff produced a special end of term show for her, and as they tucked into a well deserved afternoon tea, Richard presented her with a beautiful floral creation from Eileen’s the Florist in Wendover.
