The Oxford Road between Aylesbury and Stone will be closed from 8:30pm (25/10) until 5:30am on Monday 4th November.
It's the latest closure for on-going HS2 work in the area and should result in a new section of road opening next month.
HS2 say an additional weekend closure could be necessary in November "in case the works are delayed due to circumstances beyond our control".
The contingency weekend is Friday 15 November 8:30pm – Monday 18 November 5:30am.
The high speed rail company also say "access for residents and businesses, including Hartwell House, along the A418 will be maintained via the signed diversions route. We have been advised that all of these businesses will be open as usual. Pedestrian access will be maintained through all closures on the A418 Oxford Road via the footway on the verge".
Bus companies will use temporary timetables and passengers are being advised to check before travelling.
