The road between Rowsham and the Aston Abbotts and Wingrave junction is completely closed this afternoon due to a gas leak.
There were already long delays on this road with emergency gas works involving two way traffic lights just up the road, and long delays through Wing itself.
Police are currently on the scene of the road closure.There will hopefully be temporary traffic lights put in place from 5pm onwards to enable traffic to start to flow again.
SGN ( who look after all the pipes underground and up to your gas meter) currently working on the problem.
