The 14th Vale of Aylesbury Sea Scouts are on a mission to raise enough money to rebuild their scout hut that has been their home since 1970.
They are based behind the Pace centre on the Wendover Road in Stoke Mandeville, and each week 140 young people aged between 6-18 from surrounding villages of Weston Turville and Stoke Mandeville use the building.
It's in desperate need of knocking down and rebuilding into a more environmentally friendly, more secure and longer lasting building that will continue to serve the local communities for years to come.
They have already raised £250,000 but need another £100,000 to be able to completely rebuild which they hope to raise by the summer of 2024.
There is a number of ways to support including their GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/84d80ab2
More information about what they are up to can be found on their website: www.14valeofaylesburyseascouts.co.uk
