After having no luck and feeling trapped in the economy due to COVID, Wendy Grace found an alternative way to sell her home based near Waddesdon Manor.
Wendy never planned on selling her Bucks home in this way: "Its definitely not something I envisioned doing but it's been a tough time for selling apartments due to the covid economy, and my need to move on a singular income. Its a really lovely place but we've outgrown it and its been particularly tough during lockdown with working, schooling, playing, cooking and dining in one living space."
After living, schooling and working in the same room, Wendy wants to able to move somewhere more spacious with her two children, but she also hopes the house can go to someone locally who needs it.
She says: "When I was looking at alternative ways to sell, I discovered home raffles and I was so inspired knowing that this provides an opportunity to those perhaps struggling as a result of covid, or those struggling to get on the property ladder generally!"
