Police in Tring have dismantled an outdoor cannabis farm.
Officers were informed that several plants, at various stages of growth, had been located on abandoned land off Tringford Road.
More than 110 plants were founding growing at the site on Monday.
Scenes of crime officers also attended to gather potential evidence and the National Police Air Service (police helicopter) assisted with a further search of the land.
PC Jordan Miles, from the Intervention team, said: “This operation is just one example of how frontline officers work with specialist teams across the constabulary to tackle criminality.
“Follow up enquiries are now being carried out to trace those involved in the grow.
“If you have any information which may assist the investigation, or have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, please get in touch. Even something seemingly insignificant could prove key to progressing our enquiries.”
He added: “It’s a fact that drugs and associated criminality ruins lives. Cannabis remains illegal and I hope this sends a message that we will not stop in our pursuit of those who continue to break the law.”
