Firefighters were sent to a property in Chesham on Tuesday night.
The firefighters used a thermal imaging camera, an electricity tracker and isolated the electrics to a pumping unit in Belmont Road.
The electric pumping unit was approximately 50 percent damaged by the fire.
No injuries were reported.
