Emergency services have been tackling a fire in Lowndes Way, Winslow (18/9/24).
A mini digger caught fire in the area where gas engineers are working. The fire started at around 6:20pm, with some residents from nearby homes and flats evacuated to the local school hall. Some homes were also without gas and electricity until around 6am on Thursday (19/9/2024).
We spoke to Yvonne O’Hara, who lives in Scott Evans Court, and was one of those evacuated.
