Starting today (20/6) at 5:00pm, Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity's Chaplain Pete Griffith is having another go at the Three Peaks Challenge - conquering Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in just 24 hours.
Pete, from Waddesdon, isn't doing it alone. He's climbing with his good friend David (godfather to Pete's daughters Misha and Natalie who passed away from Batten disease) and David's daughter Madeline.
He did the challenge with friends back in 2019, but his van broke down and he was also suffering from kidney stones, so he's hoping for a better, more trouble free experience this time!
