Residents, groups and organisations in Amersham are being invited to join Amersham Community board, to help delve deeper into local issues and to look at ways to make improvements to benefit the whole community.
Mark Dormer, Chair of the Amersham Community Board, recorded a video recently, to explain a bit more about the board’s role and to encourage people to get involved.
In addition to developing relationships with a wide variety of local groups and organisations, the board has focused on specific areas and helped fund 21 local projects.
For the coming year the board will give specific focus to a number of areas:
- Environment
- Economic recovery
- Health and wellbeing
- Transport
Mark Dormer said:
“We particularly want to hear from people about their ideas and initiatives that can help make a difference to our day to day lives and make Amersham, Chesham Bois, Little Chalfont and Coleshill an even better place to live.”
