King 'heckled' during Milton Keynes visit

King Charles was heckled by republican protesters in Milton Keynes yesterday.

His Majesty had been in Buckinghamshire to celebrate Milton Keynes being given city status by the late Queen.

Some protesters held signs with the slogan "Not My King", although supporters managed to drown out the demonstrators.

Charles III met community organisers and leaders, and visited a local food bank and church.

Milton Keynes was named a city as part of celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in May last year.
