A man has been charged with attempted murder in High Wycombe.
Darren Robertson, aged 38, of no fixed abode was charged with one count of attempted murder yesterday (19/2).
The charge relates to an incident in Melbourne Road on Sunday (18/2) in which a woman in her forties was assaulted.
She suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital in a critical condition at this time.
Robertson appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates Court this morning (20/2) and has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 19 March.
