Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of grievous bodily harm in High Wycombe.
At just before 9.10am on Wednesday (14/6) officers were made aware of two men being involved in an altercation at the junction of Wye Gardens and Grafton Street in the town.
One of the men, aged 25, ended up with serious injuries to his nose and finger.
Part of his nose had been bitten and he required hospital treatment.
A 33-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been released on bail until 14 September while investigations continue.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Sophie Hill, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I’m appealing to anybody who witnessed this altercation and assault to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“If you were driving in the area and have dash-cam, I would also ask you to check this and contact us if it has picked up the incident.
