A man was hospitalised last weekend after a fight broke out inside an Italian restaurant in Wendover.
The man, in his fifties, sustained a broken jaw, loosened teeth and bruising during the assault by two people at the Lucca restaurant on the High Street at around 11:30pm on Saturday night.
The victim was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment where he has since been discharged.
One of the offenders is described as a white man, aged in his sixties, with thin grey hair and was wearing a red t-shirt and a red bomber jacket.
The other offender is described as a white man, aged in his thirties, with dark, short hair, full beard and was wearing a short sleeved, white or light blue shirt.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Gary Scott, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about this incident to please get in touch.
