Police have arrested a suspect following a serious assault at Centre MK in Milton Keynes yesterday (28/02/26), prompting the temporary closure of the shopping centre.
In a statement issued yesterday evening, Thames Valley Police confirmed officers were called to the scene after reports of a serious assault. Emergency services quickly attended the incident, and a suspect has since been taken into custody.
Officers remain at the shopping centre while enquiries continue, with a cordon in place around the affected area. The centre has confirmed it will remain closed today (Sunday) as investigations proceed.
Thames Valley Police reassured the public that an arrest has been made but acknowledged that the incident may cause concern within the community.
