The latest Covid-19 data for Buckinghamshire shows a sharp increase in new cases.
Weekly data to 19th November shows 2,823 new cases – an increase of more than a thousand compared with two weeks ago.
Buckinghamshire's infection rate is now at 516 per 100,000 of the population - 20% higher than the UK at 430.5.
Sadly, seven people died with Covid-19 on their death certificate in Buckinghamshire in the week ending 19th November, taking the total for the region to 1,275 since the start of the pandemic.
The county is also still tracking behind the UK when it comes to vaccinations.
77.0% of over-12s are now fully vaccinated in Buckinghamshire, compared to 80.4% for the UK as a whole.
