Residents have been without water since 6am on Friday morning (23rd August), but Thames Water has told Bucks Radio that bottled water will now be delivered to the area.
The road has been closed since Saturday morning due to the burst water main. Initially Thames Water told residents that there were no plans to send bottled water, but have since given Bucks Radio this statement:
"We are sorry to those who have experienced low pressure or no water on Park Street in Aylesbury due to a burst water main. Our engineers are currently at the site and working to make the necessary repairs of which requires an excavation.
"Bottled water has been delivered to the area as a precaution.
"We apologise for any disruption caused and would like residents to know we are working to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible."
